9 a.m. to Noon
Phase 3 focuses on strengthening the organizational infrastructure, financial practices, policies, and workflows needed to pursue funding competitively and manage awards compliantly. Participants will practice translating program activities into realistic project budgets, aligning costs with applicable SF-424 family budget forms, navigating the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) to evaluate eligible and allowable expenses, and distinguishing between direct and indirect costs. Participants will leave with practical tools and a clearer understanding of the systems, policies, financial practices, and internal controls that create a strong foundation for funding success and long-term grant compliance.
